Management Team
Dwayne Brunner
Dwayne serves as our President. Mr. Brunner is also the founder of Planet Works. Dwayne has worked in the Intelligence Community (IC) for 40 years. Dwayne is a Certified Project Management Professional, has a Master of Science Degree in Technology Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Maryland. He has broad IC technical experience in systems and software engineering in the SIGINT domain with Systems, Interfaces, and Processes. He promotes teamwork and process-oriented efforts. He has performed system architecture, designed, and developed software throughout the complete system life cycle for many organizations in the Intelligence Community. Prior to working at Planet Works, Mr. Brunner held positions at several other companies where he was a senior technical expert as well as part of their senior management. Dwayne places the company’s priority on mission and is a very employee-focused person. He knows Planet Works has an excellent team and looks forward to continue working with them.
Steve McGuire
Steve serves as our Vice President at Planet Works. He has over twenty years of experience in the Intelligence Community working with senior executives and leadership within CIA, NSA and the Pentagon. Steve provided advice and performed system engineering across the NSA’s SIGINT, information assurance, computer network operations and cyber threat operation centers and to CIA Programs. While serving in the Pentagon, Steve directed studies and provided modeling, simulation and analysis expertise to the Army, Air Force and DoD Modeling and Simulation Offices. Steve is a retired military veteran and has a Master of Science in Operations Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy.
Jason Farrell
Jason serves as our Director of Cyber Operations at Planet Works. Mr. Farrell has worked as a government contractor for over ten years, mainly in the Intelligence Community (IC) and Social Security Administration (SSA). Jason has a Master of Science in Applied Information Technology and also possesses numerous certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Penetration Tester (CPT). Jason’s primary technical area of expertise is offensive security and incident response within the IC and he also has extensive knowledge working in agile environments and with system engineering & certification programs. After years of working in fast paced environments, Jason has developed a process of ensuring that high quality results are provided to the customer in a timely manner. Prior to working at Planet Works, Jason quickly rose through the ranks from a junior tester to contract leadership.
John Torosino, Jr.
John Torosino proudly serves on the Planet Works Executive Advisory Board. He has over 40 years of service in the Intelligence Community. John has wide-ranging experience across information technology, SIGINT and Information Security operations, research, change management and training. He is known for his leadership skills, decision making skills and teaming. John, a retired executive at the National Security Agency (NSA) is a graduate of the Computer Science Intern Program. He holds a BS degree in Technology and Management for the University of Maryland. John has held numerous office and division leadership positions across NSA.
Bob Krysick
Bob serves as an Advisory Board Member for Planet Works. He has worked in the Intelligence Community for over 40 years and brings a wealth of experience to the company. He has extensive experience in the fields of signals analysis, software development, program management, acquisition, and independent assessment and evaluations. He is known for his ability to develop, communicate, and implement strategic objectives for organizations and has a proven track record of successes throughout his career. He served as a member of the Senior Executive Service from 1997-2012, and held a number of challenging corporate positions at the National Security Agency to include serving as the Program Executive Officer for NSA and the Director of Program, Analysis, and Evaluation for NSA. He has extensive experience as the former President and Chairman of the Board for a large, multi-million dollar Employee Benefits Association. During his tenure, Bob helped guide the association to strategically expand its product offerings, to implement enhanced business practices, and to expand its potential client base. Bob is a graduate of the Intelligence Community Senior Leadership Program; a graduate of the Intelligence Community Executive Leadership Program, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University; a graduate of the Sloan School of Management, MIT, Executive Program: Managing Technical Professionals and Organizations; has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, and is a Certified Facilitator. Bob is very excited to be a member of the Planet Works Advisory Board and is looking forward to utilizing his passion and vision to help guide the future of this company.
